A trifold leather journal has three panels instead of two, giving you an extra section for organization. This means more pockets, more space for inserts, and better protection for your pages. The trifold design folds neatly and stays closed more securely with the elastic band closure.
Yes! Every journal comes with 3 refillable notebook inserts. When you’ve filled them, simply slip in new ones. We sell replacement inserts, or you can use any standard travelers notebook inserts that match your size. The leather cover is designed to last for years—only the paper needs replacing.
We offer two premium leather options. Buttero Leather is vegetable-tanned in Tuscany, Italy—known for its rich colors and smooth surface that develops a beautiful patina over time. La Leather offers softer pastel tones and a slightly more supple feel. Both are full-grain and ethically sourced.
Your journal comes with an elastic cord that wraps around the cover. Simply fold the trifold panels together and wrap the elastic around. You can add decorative charms (5 included) by sliding them onto the elastic. We also include an extra elastic cord in case you want to customize or replace it.
Absolutely! You can add custom embossing in gold or silver foil. Names, initials, short quotes, or meaningful dates work beautifully. Just add your personalization request during checkout. This makes our journals especially popular as thoughtful gifts.
